OUR THEME

For the COLLECTIBLE Fair 2024 exhibition in Belgium, we further enhanced last year's research and used sustainable materials along with cutting-edge technology to reconstruct a Japanese garden.

Since ancient times, Japanese gardens have masterfully encapsulated the essence of the natural landscape, meticulously blending fundamental elements such as plants, water, and rocks. These serene sanctuaries evoke introspection and meditation, with each element thoughtfully imbued with profound symbolism and abstract representation, harmoniously merging art and nature.

[ catenary curve ] / [ Sphere objects ]
This artwork utilizes a technique using the raw materials of traditional Japanese papermaking, including the Kozo and Neri to drop water droplets at any desired position using an NC plotter and create washi paper from digital data. It achieves a new aesthetic that was previously impossible with conventional washi paper.

[ Fragmented Landscape ]
The spirit of plant life is captured, offering a fresh interpretation of the ever-evolving garden panorama created by diverse vegetation. Through the lens, the landscape is fragmented, giving rise to a captivating, reconstructed image that blends tradition and innovation.
