Glass is a hard material that breaks easily when force is applied. But what if glass had softness?
This work explores soft glass as a material and its potential application.
By blowing thin glass of 0.33mm~0.55mm thick into organic forms and chemically strengthening it to make it unbreakable, we produced a glass that moves freely when touched. The glass is then layered to create a soft, cushion-like feel.
